Dzek Office

We designed and fabricated this new studio for the architectural terrazzo and tile company Dzek. The studio fit out provides desk space, product display and storage for their existing terrazzo range and new product ranges under development.

Dark brown Valchromat, vertical grain Douglas Fir and cork rubber composite are used to create two large storage units along the edges of the room, with 4.5m work surfaces, wall mounted bookshelves and sample shelves. The linoleum surfaced desks span from between the windows and rest on turned Douglas Fir cylinders whose construction is carefully articulated to produce a form with a quiet continuous surface appearance.
